This workshop is based on a powerful training design known as a Human Interaction Laboratory. Participants work together as a group in order to interact with and receive feedback from one another in a relatively unstructured setting that has been proved to be highly effective in enhancing interpersonal skills. It is called a ‘laboratory’ because you have the opportunity to learn how others really see you, and you can then experiment with new, successful ways of interacting.

To assure an in-depth personal learning experience, this workshop is limited to seven people, each drawn from different organisations.

This workshop qualifies for NZ Trade and Enterprise’s Capability Development Voucher Scheme.

This workshop is for managers, team leaders, and professionals who want to develop their interpersonal skills and their ability to be a positive influence on those around them.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

• increase your self-awareness by understanding how your behaviour impacts others
• use a range of valuable interpersonal skills, including how to communicate authentically, how to be more empathetic and influential, and how to confront people responsibly
• enhance your ability to build trusting and empowering relationships with people
